Philosophy

Music is for everyone and you can learn at any age, this statement is what motivates me to teach. Instruction therefore, is offered to all ages.  I will encourage optimum learning by providing activities that suit a range of learning styles.

I will provide a safe, positive, nurturing and welcoming environment for my students to learn. I want my students to feel motivated and inspired to learn about music and reach their personal best.  One of my goals is that my students will want to challenge themselves, as well as others around them.

Also important to me is the more experienced musicians to mentor and share their knowledge to the beginner.  The goal of Pam’s Music is aimed towards the students’ to be always evolving and aspiring to become better; to go beyond technique and focus on musicianship.  By enjoying their music experiences their own playing will have expression and life.

I look forward to the blessing and challenges ahead. I am enthusiastic to enrich children’s lives through music as mine has been.   I aspire to be a competent music teacher and an active listener of music and the arts.
